Camp SPEAK 2024
Camp SPEAK 2024 at Camp Twin Lakes Rutledge over Labor Day weekend brought together AAC users for a weekend of connection and hands-on learning. Participants took part in activities like adapted archery and drumming in the treehouse, using AAC and other communication tools to engage with each other. The camp provided a space for both new and experienced users to share skills and strategies while building meaningful connections. Beyond the scheduled events, the weekend reinforced the importance of communication, accessibility, and community.
